Snax Becomes a Free Agent

G2 Esports revealed that Polish esports athlete Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski, 32, is leaving and has become a free agent. The news was published on the organization's official X page.

Pogorzelski inked a contract with G2 in July 2024 but found himself benched merely a year after. He has not been involved actively with the team's matches since then and has now officially parted ways with the club. Before joining G2, Snax played for GamerLegion, with whom he was able to deliver solid performances and improve his reputation as an experienced player globally.

Snax is perhaps the most famous Polish esports player. He began his professional esports career playing Counter-Strike way back in 2010. During his entire career, he has represented a host of premier organizations, played hundreds of top-level tournaments, and is famous for his sense in the game in terms of strategy and as a rifler in terms of consistency. During his entire career, he has collected prize money worth $956,000, which is one of the best-paid CS players from Poland in terms of earnings.

Although it was not a highlight year for G2, the experience and talent of Snax are still worth an investment by a team looking for a seasoned player with lots of competition background.

With him being a free agent now, Snax is liberated to seek new opportunities and continue playing as a professional in a different team. The general public in Poland and the global community is waiting with bated breath to see if the legend player will come back to the big stage of CS2.
